One year ago today, September 24, 2025, April and I joined a very small percentage of people who have stood atop Mount Katahdin in Maine after walking more than 2,000 miles from Georgia on the Appalachian Trail.
This selfie, taken at the end of our northbound thru-hike, captured a moment we’ll never forget. A year later, the memories, friendships, and experiences we shared along the trail are still very much a part of our lives.
