So many different ways to do this. Personally I use a CNOC 2 liter bladder with a Sawyer filter and keep two SmartWater bottles for the filtered water. Good luck on the hike!

Non-hiker question-When you fill up bottles from the streams, I’m assuming you use some sort of purifier or filter?
